BlueHours
(2020)
Student
Surrealist, Psychological short
'Blue Hours' was a filmic exploration of the mental state, or as the director and writer Graham Holroyd put it: "An introspective experience of a young person's struggle with her mental health and the response of a close friend."

For this film, alongside being one of three cinematographers on the piece (being an assignment on that particular role), I also worked as assistant production designer to Graham.

This involved helping to find appropriate locations from Nova's bedroom which needed to be in a state of disorganised chaos, to the on campus meeting place which needed brighter yellow elements to symbolise the helping influence of Joel in Nova's life.
