Masters of The Air
Apple TV 2024

Specialist Supporting Artist

In 2021, I was cast as a United States Army Air Force Medic, for the Apple TV series 'Masters of The Air'.

From March to November I took part in filming, between The Chilterns and Oxford; being featured on camera in a key scene involving the rescue of an wounded airman from a bullet/shell-ravaged B-17.

I was also featured (in silhouette) in both episode three's build up to the Regensburg Raid, and even more majorly, in the actual opening titles of the series!

With my background in prop making/buying, I decided to create a character for the role, the fictional Tech Corporal (later TEC. 3) Joseph James Clark, of Aurora Illinois.

As well as obtaining accurately stamped dog tags (for an early war draft); over the several months shooting, I created two sketchbooks 'in character' that a groundcrew member might have drawn, in those violent months when the roar of Wright Cyclone engines filled the skies.
